Due to very high demand for ports in Frankfurt, we are replacing our network switch with a larger version to allow more members to be connected without increasing our environmental footprint.
Prior to the maintenance, we will cull all BGP sessions and wait for traffic to re-route. After the maintenance is completed, we will reinstate the sessions and allow traffic to be routed across ERA-IX again.
During and after the maintenance we will extensively monitor the situation to ensure all service traffic is handled as expected. No action is required from your side for this maintenance.
