As we are looking to expand our platform capabilities and performance we are upgrading our switches at our Equinix AM7 location.
For this upgrade we are moving towards 400G ready equipment to prepare for the demands on efficient internet exchanging.
During the maintenance, ports at Equinix AM7 will be moved to our new switching platform. This move is expected to take approximately 10 minutes per member.
We will cull (BCP 214) the BGP sessions and make sure traffic is drained gracefully prior to disconnecting any ports.
